Questions for America

In the spring of 2015, I began making work -- both artists books and prints
with pencil -- titled "Missing in America, inspired by the Black Lives Matter
movement, and, in particular, a disturbing story in the NY Times about the
great number of black men missing from our society.

The election of 2016 led me to incorporate some of this imagery into another
group of works, "Questions for America." This consists of both artists books
that combine printmaking, photography and mixed media and a group of
inkjet photos with a penciled text asking questions for America. A few
examples are below and this is an ongoing project.
