| Aileen Bassis "Jamaica Flux: Workspace and Windows 2007" These altered books were created for a public art project that sought to bring art out of a gallery space and into the community. For my project, I met with older community residents in their homes, talking with them about their lives, photographing them and using their words and images to make a group of altered books. The altered books were displayed in a local bookstore. |
